…[vur-ti-goh] a dizzying sensation of tilting within stable surroundings or of being in tilting or spinning surroundings.
I cannot imagine being in this state more than the occasional instance when I stand up too fast. Unfortunately, Kip is experiencing this sensation quite frequently. For the past two weeks, he has been on the virtual merry-go-round and has been a little dingier than he normally is. He has adjusted to it somewhat, compared to the first 4 days, which were horrible. However, we are praying (along w/ many friends and family~ thank you) that it will leave as fast as it came. Kip is seeing an ENT and we will have results from last weeks tests on Wednesday, the 14th. As I mentioned on our first blog, we are here for better or worse and I pray that the Lord will bless us with good news next week. That would be the best gift from my favorite Valentine.
Pray at all times and on every occasion in the power of the Holy Spirit. Stay alert and be persistent in your prayers for all Christians everywhere. Ephesians 6:18 NLT
To encourage those children who have great ideas is such a blessing. They are our future leaders, after all. Hayden (Gillian soon to follow) takes an idea and runs with it. As we were driving, Zippy also in the car, Hayden has a clever marketing idea to make a breakfast food for dogs.
When we get home, he gets right to work creating this tasty meal for his favorite pooch, Zippy! He also, with the help of his daddy creates the packaging for this new item. It’s a good thing as Martha Stewart would say!
When the cold keeps you in what is the next best thing? Building a fort of course!
What is it about this simple idea that we all love so much? I remember how much fun I had as a kid when my sister and I would build blanket forts. It is so much fun to see our kids enjoy it as well. They have pillows, blankies, paper & pens to write in their journals, snacks and lots of kid talk. Love it! Thank you God for snow days!
