So, if you know us at all, you know we research and research before we get anything. Most of the time it works in our favor because it either goes on sale OR newer and better gets released right when we are ready to make a commitment. (yeah, they are just things…we know!).
Well after many discussions we finally said “lets just do this…!” My dear hubby said, “really?” He very much looked like he was up to something. He smiled and said “Good!” I just ordered them a few minutes ago!
I am so excited about my new toy!! The coolest thing, I hope you can see it on our picture but, you get to choose a quote to have engraved on your IPod Touch. I love, love, love the one my dear honey did on ours. Can you see it?

It was that time of year again, for the annual Father-Daughter Lock-in at our church. It is a highly coveted day for Gillian (who attended for her 3rd year). This special time is for dads to devote to their precious daugthers. It is a time for bonding, playing games, face painting, pizza, obstacle courses, an hour or two of sleep and much more fun that can be jammed into 14 hours.
Of course much of the next day is devoted to catchingup on sleep (NOT!) for the poor weary fathers.
This year was extra special because Gillian invited her best friend from pre-school to come along. Natalie and Gillian had so much fun and were so well behaved. It was one of those nights that will not soon be forgotten. In fact as they sleepily walked in the door, they were already looking forward to it next year.

The fog has lifted…..
At least for now. The beauty of a new day, a new week. I am sitting here by an open window, the cool crisp air refreshes me. The sun peaking through the large trees in our backyard comforts me. The birds chattering entertains me.
No gift is too small when given in love is it? My hubby gave me the morning off carpool duty and took all of the kids in for the hour commute. In one hour, I cleaned my kitchen, got my workout in, and worked on my Bible Study. I love those gifts. Thank you honey! My cup is filled for the day.

Has anyone found a the secret potion to keep our children from growing up so fast? I am running out of time!! They are shooting up like little weeds!
My little peanut had a major growth spurt in the last six months. From March to August both H & G grew 1.5″. I knew it had to be a lot when the G’s pants were all suddenly 2 ” too short.
Now my baby is in school, part-time. I pray that she will love it as much as her big brother does. G, we are so proud of you sweetie pie. We pray that you will have fun this school year.

Today ended up being a letter “F” day. No, not for Fail.
Today we took a Fall Field trip with a couple of Friends and had lots of Fun. We went to the AFA and got to see a few planes that were Famous back in their day. Once we Finished up there we Flew (well, we drove actually) over to FOF to continue the Fun!
We frolicked and fiddled and took lots of foto’s. Oh what a Fun Fall Field trip we experienced today, I wonder what letter we will come up next we play.
What a fantastic way to make learning fun, focus on colors, foods or letters and bring them to life. Re-cap those fun memories with foto’s for life.
Thank you for sharing our fun filled “F” day. We hope to share many others this way.

One of our family’s favorite stories are the Chronicles of Narnia Series. Today we were able to visit our friends in Narnia. I wish all of our trips and adventures could happen just by walking through the doors of a wardrobe. It is always fun to visit Narnia, we can’t wait to go back.

You either LOVE them or HATE them!

It is mostley divided in our home. Gillian and I love them. Hayden tells daddy he doesn’t like them but will eat them with us girls when he isn’t around.
We try hard to not eat them when daddy is around. Sometimes unavoidable though.
Do you like them? We want to know!

“Mommy! I am bored, can I please have a playdate?” “Honey, we tried, nobody is available to play.”
“Life isn’t fair! Hump! Hayden always gets to play with the boys (next door)! I never get to play with anyone!”
“Gigi, that isn’t true. We tried to see if someone can play and they aren’t available. It is easier for H because his friends live next door!”
“Hump!”
I am afraid that my littlest monkey is going to run into this quite a bit now that school has started. It breaks my heart and I wish that she had a sibling that she could play with….because sometimes mommies just don’t cut it!
