I don’t think that I am alone in this sentiment but I get a wee bit sad when Christmas is over. I just wish that spirit could last all year long. A spirit of love, kindness (most of the time) and giving of oneself to others. We did experience this feeling of giving and unity one other time this year, during the fires of 2012 in our area. It is a one of my most favorite things to watch God’s people treat each other so longingly. God knows my greatest desire is for our world to be more like that for our children and grandchildren in the years to come.
Anyway……
I captured our Christmas season in photographs. The joy in smiles, the heart in giving and the spirit of love.
Love your photos Thanks for sharing. Love the tree with the blue ornaments on it. Love the close up of Hayden out in the snow and of Gillian dancing around the front room with Kip drinking out of the moose mugs. I share your sentiment of sadness to see the Christmas season and spirit depart
